Lisa is based on the North West coast of Scotland in a remote part of the world full of wildlife, wide-open landscapes and extremes. She trained at Brighton Polytechnic, Psalter Lane Sheffield and Grays School of Art, Aberdeen. Her work has focussed on sound, video and more recently painting and drawing inspired by the extreme weather and landscape of the Highlands.

Her studio is in Shieldaig, close to the Torridon mountains. She is often open for visits. You can also view and buy work from the online shop.

Reviewed in the Scotsman 4* by Duncan Macmillan, and a small mention 'there are plenty of others where real skill skill is the vehicle for something much more valuable. Take Lisa Fenton O'Brien's 'Coile Badan Mhugaidgh, October' for instance. Executed in ink and wash, both cool grey and warm sepia, it is a free and lively drawing of pines against a misty background.......'
